Aliya Haji (Mowl)
I gained my MSc in physiotherapy at King’s College London in 2008, and have since had experience working in both the NHS and private sectors with a special interest in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy.
Prior to this I qualified as a sports and remedial massage therapist with the London School of Sports Massage.
I am a member of the Acupuncture Society having completed my Foundation Course in Acupuncture, a useful addition to standard physiotherapy treatments.
I have completed the APPI pilates matwork 1 and ante- and post-natal pilates courses, gaining knowledge in specific exercise prescription during the ante- and post-natal periods.
My time is now split between working as an aquatic therapist in a hydrotherapy pool and private land-based physiotherapy.
My hobbies include running and HIIT training and I have danced a lot in previous years, something I am keen to return to! This has given me the knowledge and understanding of the rigours of training, particularly after completing 3 marathons!
